Although discussions of diversity, equity and inclusion are occurring in many law firms, companies and organizations around the country, the discussions often focus on singular identities- race, gender, etc. so, what happens when race and gender intersect? Women of color face unique challenges as respected professionals. This program will offer a candid conversation about the strategies women lawyers of color have personally used to navigate their careers. The program also will explore ways law firms, businesses and their legal departments can expand their thinking about diversity by embracing an intersectional approach.
