Tune in to learn about the colorful birds seen on the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's Panama Fruit Feeder cam. Find out what Dr. Eliot Miller and the Bird Cams Lab community discovered by documenting what happens when birds vie for access to the feeding table in an investigation titled, "Battling Birds: Panama Edition."
For those of you who might not be familiar, Bird Cams Lab is an online community of cam viewers and scientists co-creating investigations about the birds seen on the Cornell Lab's Bird Cams. In the "Battling Birds: Panama" investigation, the community seeks to understand how birds relate to each other at the Panama Fruit Feeder. They are in the data exploration phase and working together to interpret what the data is saying.
A few participants have already begun interpreting the data in online forums and we are taking those discussions LIVE in a free webinar. Listen in, ask questions, and offer up your ideas and interpretations as we explore the data!
